Soil degradation is one of the most serious problems threatening agricultural productivity in many parts of the world. This research aims to find effective organic resources that can maintain and improve soil quality and productivity without further compromising natural resources. In order to achieve this objective, this research will take efforts to gain a fundamental understanding of the influential mechanism of organic resources on the changes of soil state, from conductive to disease-suppressive state for instance. The results of this research will contribute to a sustainable waste management via application of organic resources into agricultural land and thus, ensure a long term agricultural practices.
