The implications of the net zero transition, emergence of nature-based solutions, and negative emissions technologies on collective climate action and governance

This research examines national reporting to the UNFCCC via various sources including Long-term strategies, Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and Adaptation Communications on the use of negative emissions technologies and nature-based solutions. The research assesses the role of these technologies as envisioned and expressed by countries and their implications for anticipated collective climate action and governance.
