The use of organic fertilizers like manure and chemical fertilizers is an important aspect of agriculture supplying nutrients to crops for growth and increasing the production levels and profitability. The addition of organic fertilizer like manure is also commonly believed to enhance soil quality by supporting the soil life, where chemical fertilizers are assumed to deteriorate soil life. In recent years it has become clear that the intensive use of fertilizers also has undesired effects such as nitrogen emissions to nature and the environment and a loss of biodiversity. In this research the role of innovation and completing values are investigated in reducing the nutrient and nitrogen emission from farms and related environmental problems, enhancing soil quality and maintaining profitability.
