Municipal Wastewater Treatment using Algae and Bacteria at MBR process(based on MLE process

The main objective of this research is to assess the effects of the new aeration technologies (SDOX system and Speece cone) on the performance of biological wastewater treatment processes for COD, nitrogen, and phosphorous removal. Simultaneously, the oxygen transfer efficiency of the new aeration technologies will be evaluated and compared to conventional aeration systems (bubble diffusers). This study will also provide a better understanding of both the effects of the new aeration technologies on the microbial communities, as well as the potential impact of these technologies on solid/liquid separation processes. This study is expected to contribute to provide the guidelines for designing the next generation of MBRs.
