The need to adapt to climate change is widely understood, but the awareness of crucial stakeholders in adaptation, regarding the exact problems and solutions in urban climate (UC), when it comes to its ephemeral, invisible atmospheric components (such as urban heat, radiation, wind) impedes adaptation processes. Awareness about the UC may possibly be positively influenced by appropriate communication methods. While different communication methods have proven to be effective in communicating climate change, I hypothesize that they might also prove effective for communicating urban climate. This research aims to identify effective communication methods to communicate complex UC challenges and solutions.
