As a national developmental concept, China Agriculture Green Development (AGD) aims to develop agriculture without sacrificing environmental or social needs. Due to the lack of current assessment tool for measuring AGD status and providing potential guidance, this project aims to (i) review past development frameworks and propose an AGD conceptual framework; (ii) complete the concepts further into a mathematical framework and evaluate China’s AGD historical trend; (iii) quantitatively evaluate AGD’s contribution to UN SDGs; and (iv) based on the framework constructed, analyze China AGD’s future pathway on technology innovation under different scenarios and each contribution to UN SDGs.
