“SENSE Advanced Sustainability Course for PhD students” second course developed with SENSE funding

How to develop research that integrates various aspects of sustainability? How to critically assess the inclusion of sustainability in the work of others? Where to find a network of people working on sustainability-related topics in your own field?

If you are looking for answers to these questions, our SENSE Advanced Sustainability Course is the right place for you. Following the principles of multidisciplinary PhD training, high quality environmental and sustainability research and bridging sustainable challenges and solutions, the course brings together environmental, economic, societal and cultural pillars of sustainable development and cuts across spatial, temporal and scientific scales engaging students and lecturers from various backgrounds.

The course, designed for 25 PhD students, will be taught in 2023 in the form of a one week seminar taking place in a green area of the Netherlands where participants can focus on the content and networking.

This course is the second course to be developed with SENSE funding for course development.
