We provide a disciplinary and multidisciplinary research programme aimed at advanced understanding of environmental problems and advanced training of PhD candidates in this field.
The SENSE Research School is a partnership of several Dutch universities and research organisations. Every SENSE partner has its own admission criteria and procedure, so we cannot give a general answer to this question. For more information about admission, please consult the websites of our partner institutes.
Each SENSE PhD candidate in SENSE develops an individual Training and Supervision Plan (TSP). This plan is tailor-made for your personal development to become an independent researcher in your field.
All PhD candidates who have fulfilled the SENSE Education programme successfully and have an approved PhD thesis, can apply for a SENSE Diploma for specialised PhD training issued by SENSE.
