
On 16 November, the Wageningen Model & Data Day 2023 will take place. The event is organised by the Wageningen Modelling Group and WUR’s Data Steward Network. The day will be a stimulating programme of lectures & workshops on AI, modelling and data management in the animal, plant, social, environmental, and food sciences.
Meet, discuss, exchange and learn
This day is for WUR researchers, PhDs and (model) data stewards to meet and exchange experiences, and to participate in interactive workshops. The live event will take place on 16 November 2023, at Akoesticum (Ede) from 8:30 am until 5 pm.
Programme
You can participate in interactive data (management) workshops, hands-on sessions, software carpentries, and discussions about models and data. Meet up with colleagues and don’t miss the inspiring key note speakers Constanze Mager (Burgers’ Zoo) and Hannah van Zanten (Farm Systems Ecology Group). Want to join? You can register until 3 November. It’s also possible to join only a part of the programme in the morning or afternoon. The day is free to attend.
What do you need to bring?
If you’re going to attend the Yoda workshop or BIS-4D session, you need to bring your laptop.

The Wageningen Data and Model Day is a collaborative event, with speakers from all science groups of WUR, the RDM support team from the Library, the data stewards network, the Wageningen Data Competence Center (WDCC), FB-IT department, Privacy & Security officers.
