Climate change impacts are becoming increasingly severe, and we require suitable methodologies to measure the local impacts across a range of climate hazards. In this thesis, I develop a local scale integrated assessment model (IAM) CLIMRISK to measure the inequalities of climate change globally. I describe the workings of the basic model before introducing a novel risk metric of time of emergence of economic impacts (ToEI) in Chapter 2. I proceed by introducing physical impacts of riverine flooding (Chapter 3) and impacts of extreme heat on mortality in EU (Chapter 4). Finally, I revise the damage functions of my IAM using results of a macroeconomic model. The result of my thesis is a multi-scenario, multi-risk model that can be used by policymakers and the research community to explore the inequality of climate change impacts globally.
