Presence of persistent organic compounds and salinity in the industrial wastewater hindering their reuse within the industry. Advanced oxidation technology can effectively remove the organic compounds; however, their performance is influenced by salinity. The influence of salinity on advanced oxidation technologies and their minimization strategies has been thoroughly studied in the thesis.
